Webflow website autoplay video

I have a website I manage for a client and they have requested 2 videos to be added to the homepage. The website is on webflow. The work is for a website developer to support with the webflow code. Note: this is not a video editing project.

Video 1 is a hero animation playing as a webflow background video which needs to autoplay. There is no audio.
Video 2 is a vimeo video using the webflow video component. The video had sound, but should be set as muted and autoplay.

I need help because I am having issues across browsers. In safari sometimes neither video appears, or a play button appears on an otherwise blank screen. In Chrome the top animation always appears, but the second video doesn't autoplay. In Edge the same as Chrome. The client is adamant to have the video autoplay (despite my recommendations!) but has consented to having the video muted by default, understanding this is browser rules.

I'm looking for someone who can support fixing this.
