Hello,

I am looking for an experienced web developer to build the MVP of a new platform called **Players Profile Hub (PPH)**.

PPH is a grassroots football player profile platform where parents can create profiles for young players, upload highlights, and share their profile with scouts and clubs.

At this stage I am looking for **initial pricing and estimated timescale** to build the MVP version of the platform.

The MVP will include approximately **11 pages / sections**:

1. Landing Page
2. About Page
3. How It Works Page
4. Parent Sign-Up / Login
5. Parent Dashboard
6. Create / Edit Player Profile
7. Upload Highlight Moment
8. Public Player Profile Page
9. Discover Players (searchable player directory)
10. Discovery Feed (highlight clips feed)
11. Contact Us page

Core functionality required:

• Parent accounts to manage player profiles
• Ability to upload or embed video highlights (initially YouTube embeds)
• Public player profile pages displaying highlights and player details
• Discover Players search page with filters (age group, position, location)
• Discovery Feed showing recent highlight clips
• Contact form on player profiles that sends enquiries directly to the parent’s email address
• Mobile responsive design

Preferred tech stack:

Frontend:
• React
• Next.js

Backend:
• Node.js
• Firebase or Supabase

Video:
• YouTube embeds initially (no complex video hosting required at this stage)

I already have UI layout concepts and platform structure prepared to help guide development.

At this stage I would like to understand:

1. Estimated cost to build the MVP
2. Estimated build timeline
3. Whether you have built similar platforms before
4. Examples of relevant projects you have worked on

    Hello Louis! Thanks for your job posting and I have some questions for your project:

    Do you already have UI/UX designs (Figma or wireframes) for all 11 pages, or will the developer also need to handle part of the design and component structure in React / Next.js?

    For the Discover Players search and filtering system, do you prefer a real-time searchable database (Firebase/Supabase queries) or a cached/indexed search approach to support scalability as the number of player profiles grows?

    For video highlights, should the system simply store YouTube embed links, or would you like the platform to also support future upgrades such as direct video uploads or integrations with video APIs?
