Description
Experience Level: Entry
I have created a custom call-to-action button template and section but it is not appearing in the presets, either on the home page or on other pages. THE most important thing is that I understand why it isn't showing because I plan to create more custom templates in the future. I also want to know if what I am doing is correct in terms of creating a template for each page, and basing all new pages on the default page template. I followed this how-to: https://www.shopify.co.uk/partners/blog/building-a-clickable-call-to-action-button-for-your-shopify-theme. I have tried both with and without:
],
"presets": [{
"name": "Call to Actions",
"category": "Text"
}]
}
And there has been some discussion on having to create a static section in index.liquid then creating the template, and then deleting the static section, just to get the presets to show. But tbh, I haven't got time for that. Any questions, just ask.
Thanks,
Steve
