# Build MatchFlow – Padel Tournament SaaS (MVP)

I need an experienced full-stack developer or small team to build an MVP for **MatchFlow**, a SaaS platform for managing padel tournaments for clubs.

The system must support tournament creation, player registration, draw generation, court scheduling, live scoring, leaderboards, and subscription payments.

* Super Admin: manage clubs, subscriptions, analytics
* Club Admin: create tournaments, manage players, generate draws, assign courts/referees
* Referee: enter scores, control match timer, update match status
* Player: access tournament via QR code (no login)

### Tournaments

Create tournaments with name, date, venue, courts, format (Americano, Mexicano, Round Robin, Knockout, Group+Playoffs), match duration.

### Draws & Brackets

Auto-generate draws, support single & double elimination brackets, group stages, and round robin. Include basic seeding.

### Registration

Public self-registration per tournament, admin registration, CSV upload, and custom form fields.

### Live Scoring

Real-time score updates, match status control, and live leaderboard synced via Supabase Realtime.

### Court Scheduling

Assign matches to courts, generate schedules, allow manual override, minimize idle courts.

### Referee Tools

Mobile-first scoring screen with match timer, score input, and next-match queue.

### Player Portal (QR)

    Hi Cycling, could you please let me know whether the tournament-generation engine (Americano, Mexicano, Round Robin, Knockout, Group+Playoffs) already has defined rules and scheduling logic, or are you expecting the developer to design and optimize the pairing, seeding, court-allocation, and tie-break algorithms as part of the MVP?

    Before I give a precise timeline and cost for the MVP, I’d like to clarify a few key points to make sure the architecture is scoped correctly:

    1. For MVP launch, do you want to prioritize Americano/Mexicano formats first, or support all tournament types from day one?

    2. For live scoring, do you expect true real-time multi-device sync (referee + live leaderboard instantly) from day one, or is a slight delay acceptable for MVP?

    3. Should M-Pesa integration be handled directly via API (full automation), or is manual payment confirmation acceptable for the first version?

    4. Do you already have UI/UX designs, or should I also design the full mobile-first interface in Tailwind?

    - For each supported format (Americano, Mexicano, Round Robin, Knockout, Group + Playoffs), do you already have specific competition rules and scoring logic that must be followed?

    - Regarding Stripe and M-Pesa integration, should tournament entry fees be collected directly by each club, or processed centrally through the platform owner account with commission deductions? Additionally, do you require refunds, partial refunds, failed payment handling, invoices, receipts, payout tracking, and financial reporting within the admin dashboards?
