Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: Ongoing
General information for the website: Loyalty system
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of requirements/features: Hello,
We are currently building a web application in Ruby on Rails. The system consists of two parts, 1. a reward system and 2. a gift card system. Customers can earn points and we can create rewards. When a customer has enough points he can exchange the points for the reward he has selected. After the customer receives the reward the points must be subtracted from his account. The gift cards are mainly working in the same way, the company can add an amount to the card and the customer can use this to buy things in the store.
You are going to work together with a second developer on the system. The main functionality of the system is already developed and functioning but we would like to speed up the development.
We are looking for a long term relationship to maintain the system and add more functionality in the future.
We are looking for a professional and experienced programmer (at least 3+years experience) who can help us build this system. We are searching for a long term relationship to maintain and extend the application in the future.
You are familiar with:
- Ruby on Rails (at least 3+ years experience)
- Creating API's
- Git / Bitbucket
- Redmine (ticketsystem)
- Geolocation
- Writing secure applications
- Server & System administration
Communication is very important for us, ideally we communicate on a daily bases so we can follow the progress of the project.
Please include your portfolio and work examples.
Specific technologies required: Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL
Extra notes:
