Description
Experience Level: Expert
I need some help getting an mvp app put together.
The simplest way the app can be described to provide an insight into the effort involved is a micro-posting and micro-social network-like site.
There are two types of users (Teacher, Supply Teacher).
Pages that are required;
- Dashboard page: Where a user can view particular stats generated by the backend (TBD)
- Profile page so a user can update their settings: settings are just properties on their account model
- Relationship page: Teachers and supply teachers can manage their working relationship links
- Some way to view, create and accept invitations (likely a table attribute/button)
- Work Experience: Where only Supply Teachers can post and view their working history (simple post CRUD-like table)
- Supply Teachers: Where a teacher can query for supply teachers. Backend will do the heavy lifting and produce a list of "Supply Teachers" models
Relevant Info:
- I have a swagger/open API doc that will have models and API endpoints to mock against
- I have built the backend API and is accessible
- Authentication is handled by the backend and creates a cookie with a JWT token ( this mechanism may need adapting to make life easier for the react developer)
- There is no user registration or credential pages: it's all handled through LinkedIn OAuth
- I've found an MIT licensed template I'd quite like to use https://github.com/0wczar/airframe-react
- I've used the template's JSX to mock out the pages so it just needs plumbing. I am not a react developer so there's been copy/pasting meaning better code reuse/refactoring can be done.
The solution must build and be able to serve from a Dockerfile. I have produced a skeleton that does work with the above template to start with.
This project is for a customer of mine so excellent expectation management is crucial i.e. keeping me in the loop either through communication or git commits so I can relay information/progress to the customer.
This is the github repo containing the template, openapi doc and where I will expect the solution to be worked on https://github.com/rhysjtevans/projectx-frontend.
I will add the successful candidate as a collaborator so no need to fork the repo and make it private.
