Project #13 – Investor Onboarding Wizard (Bubble)

Create a welcoming, user-centric 4-step onboarding wizard that guides new investors through, setting up their account and notification preferences, uploading their first property document, accepting terms, and celebrating the start of their investment journey with a smooth transition to the dashboard.

1. Key Deliverables:
- Bubble Data Models (Essential Fields):
-- Extend User with:
-- onboarding_completed (yes/no)
-- terms_accepted (yes/no)
-- terms_accepted_at (date/time)
-- notification_preferences (text or option set: e.g., "Email", "WhatsApp", "In-App", or combinations)
-- whatsapp_number (text, optional, E.164 format)

- Ensure Property / Investment data type supports:
-- spa_document (file)
-- document_type (text: "SPA", "Other")
-- Fields populated by OCR (from Project #3): project_name, location, property_type, investment_amount, purchase_date, etc.

2. User-Centric 4-Step Wizard UI:
Step 1 – Welcome, explanatory message.
Step 2 – Account & Notification Setup (User Information)
Step 3 – Upload Your Property Document
Step 4 – Welcome & Celebrate (Excitement & Completion with Terms & Conditions (Compliance))

5. Mobile-First, Responsive Design:
-- Wizard must be fully optimized for mobile devices (iOS/Android).
-- Large touch targets, easy-to-read text, smooth transitions between steps.
-- File upload must work seamlessly on mobile (camera access for document capture if possible).

6. Progress Indicator:
-- Simple visual progress bar or step indicator: "Step 1 of 4", "Step 2 of 4", etc.
-- Clear indication of current step and remaining steps.

Requirements:
-- Strong Bubble.io experience with multi-step forms, conditional logic, and file uploads.
-- Ability to integrate with existing backend API (Project #3 OCR pipeline).
-- Experience with form validation, error handling, and user-friendly messaging.
-- UI/UX skills to create a warm, welcoming, and celebratory onboarding experience.
-- Understanding of mobile-responsive design and file upload best practices.

Payment / Conditions:
-- No-Cure-No-Pay Basis: Payment will be released upon successful demonstration that:
- All 4 steps are functional and user-friendly.
-- Step 1: Terms acceptance is captured and stored correctly.
-- Step 2: User information and notification preferences are saved correctly with proper validation.
-- Step 3: Document upload works, calls Project #3 OCR pipeline, and handles both success and failure gracefully.
-- Step 4: User is redirected to Dashboard with appropriate property display (if OCR succeeded) or prompt to complete details (if OCR failed).
-- User.onboarding_completed is set to yes upon completion.
-- Wizard is fully mobile-responsive and tested on at least 2 devices.

No High Deposits: Large upfront payments or high deposits will not be accepted. Results and working functionality are central; small milestone payments can be discussed but are not mandatory.
