Microsoft CRM Dynamics Online plugin

I need to create a plugin to help me import data to a custom entity. The custom entity has a look up to the contact entity.

What I want is that during import, the process will look if the contact in the custom entity lookup exists in the contact entity, if it doesn't exist, it should create the contact and continue with the import of the custom entity records. This way I don’t have any imports failing if its cant resolve the lookup as it will create the contact on the fly.

Anyone with an example of such a plugin or custom workflow?


Any plugin created should also have unit tests.

Am using CRM 2015 Online version. Needs to be compatible with Visual studio 2013
