Magento 1.9.1 image upload not working

I have a site on Magento 1.9.1 we will be moving over to a new version at some point we are just working on the redesign. However, with Microsoft discontinuing Flash, we need to patch/update Magento to 1.9.4 or later.

Say you like Apple at the top of your proposal so I know you have read it.

This is a heavily used live website, so would need the changes made in a dev area and tested before making live, making live would need to be done out of hours to reduce downtime.

Please only reply if you can start the work ASAP and are a Magento expert.
