Description
Our website is developed using a custom tech stack that includes HTML, PHP, and MySQL (no CMS like WordPress or Shopify). The integration must be done directly within our existing codebase while maintaining performance, security, and clean architecture.
Scope of Work:
• Integrate PayQora payment gateway into our existing website
• Implement secure payment processing (including API integration, authentication, and transaction handling)
• Handle payment success, failure, and pending states properly
• Ensure proper database updates after transactions (order/payment status)
• Implement necessary webhook or callback handling (if supported by PayQora)
• Provide basic testing to ensure end-to-end payment flow works correctly
• Fix any bugs related to integration
Requirements:
• Strong experience with PHP and MySQL
• Prior experience integrating payment gateways (preferred: PayQora or similar APIs)
• Understanding of API integration, JSON handling, and server-side validation
• Knowledge of security best practices (e.g., preventing fraud, securing transactions)

Hi, thanks for the detailed brief, I’ve worked on several custom PHP payment gateway integrations, so this looks straightforward to scope once a few technical details are confirmed.
Could you please clarify the following:
1. Do you already have PayQora API documentation and credentials (sandbox + production), or should I request/access them during setup?
2. Is there an existing order management structure/database schema that payment status should update, or should I implement a recommended structure for transaction tracking?
3. Does your checkout flow already exist and just needs gateway connection, or should the payment step UI/logic also be implemented/refined?
4. Will PayQora use server-to-server callbacks/webhooks, redirect return URLs, or both in your configuration?
5. Do you require test-mode transaction logging and admin visibility for debugging before going live?
6. Is the site hosted on a shared server, VPS, or cloud environment, and do you have SSL fully configured?
Once I review these details, I can outline the cleanest integration approach and confirm timeline and effort for secure implementation.
