Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
General information for the website: We are a payday loans company.
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of requirements/features: I would assume this would take around 8-10 hours of work. It will be a cooperative task and you will be working along side our dev.
Specific technologies required: Take existing CSS and make it Mobile responsive
Extra notes: We have a fully-functional website which is currently optimised for desktop browsers. The HTML is designed to allow the layout to be modified via CSS and we now require mobile-optimised responsive CSS for the site. Ideally we're looking for zero html changes; however if any are needed the same changes must apply to both desktop and mobile versions (i.e. a single html source for all platforms). Similarly if changes are needed to the current CSS that's fine so long as the overall result is the same.
The deliverable from this project is therefore a single CSS file, plus potentially scaled versions of graphics if necessary. We should be able to drop those files on our webserver and have a fully responsive site as a result.
In addition to a small number of static pages, there are some pages which utilise standard JQuery animations to show/hide elements. Further, there are two data collection forms which include CSS to dynamically display help texts and error messages. Areas of the site are accessible to members only and we will provide login details as required. There is also a payment form implemented as an iFrame from our payment provider; a separate CSS stylesheet applies to that form and we would require some assistance with configuring that.
The current design is a fixed-width design of 960px. CSS should be developed to support widths of 320px and 640px (and optionally 800px). The site is at www.clarity-loans.com and a test version of the site is available. We will provide FTP access to the CSS and images folders. Additional info on the structure and implementation of the site can be provided and full access to the site developer will be available to the selected freelancer.
