HTML / PHP / MySQL Game Developer Needed

We have multiple gaming properties built using a variety of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP & MySQL. These games are simplistic text based games, please see an example of our biggest game at https://prisonstruggle.com/. The games were originally coded in ~PHP 5 and have been slowly upgraded but contain shims and compatibility layers to make them run on the latest PHP versions. Alongside this there is no true framework embedded, a loose concept of MVC which is fairly easy to learn for any experienced PHP developer.

We utilize Doctrine and migrations for database operations, however, legacy code is still using older string queries.

We're looking for an experienced PHP developer who is able to be self driven and motivated to complete a number of different types of tasks for us. These range from helping investigate and fix bugs for players, too building whole new features into the games to help both grow and enhance our experiences.

You'll work directly with myself, the CEO, and our content & community manager and will have an open dialog regarding questions on the features requested. All work items will be provided with detailed descriptions and good direction on some operations of the desired feature, some of these work items will be events attached to dates so a deadline maybe requested.

This is a remote position, but you will need some overlap with CST to be able to effectively communicate, we use Discord for communication. We'll pay invoices within 2 days of completed work.
