Hi there. We have a Woocommerce test site that we inherited, and we need to set up dynamically drop down choices, The first one would be the date that the class is offered and the second one is the location. (or vice versa). It would be nice if it auto-populated the second choice somehow or auto-merged the options. (So that the user cannot choose the wrong location for the date).
I have set up the basic form in Gravity Forms. And in the top field of the form called courses, there is an Advanced Option that is supposed to allow me to do the above (but I am not smart enough).
Additionally, the previous developer altered the functions file A LOT, and I am not confident that it's functioning properly (no pun intended). There is some customization regarding registration that the client is not using that I'd like to keep, but all of the other customization can go away.
Here's a page that might be helpful. I have several more bookmarked if you need them:
https://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/article/allow-field-to-be-populated-dynamically/
Here's the site (test product):
https://calruralwater.org/CRWA-Test/product/water-treatment-certification-review-grades-1-2-test/
The text above "Courses Form" is being populated by a WordPress post, and we are not interested in that section.
We would like for the form to take in:
(not working)
- which class
- which date
- which city
(working)
- are you a member (yes/no)
- how many tickets?
- populate price
- populate total
- Submit, and have cart reflect accurate total
Is this something that is in your skillset?
We'd be asking you to set up two courses with enough choices to demonstrate that the functionality is working, and we can do the grunt work on all the other products.
Also what kind of access to the site do you need? And what kind of timeline would you anticipate (generally)
Thanks for your consideration.
