Description
Experience Level: Expert
We are looking for this work to be completed asap. Please provide a quote based on the amount of time you think it would take to complete this work- we have provided a rough budget.
The RCSLT website (www.rclst.org) is home to huge amount of information ranging from clinical advice and research, guidance, resources (often in pdf format) and video content.
We would like to understand what content we should focus on; whether that is creating new content or making existing content easier to find. We are aware that the majority of our users find it hard to surface the information they are looking for. This is due to a number of factors; content is uploaded onto the website without much thought as to how it will perform and much thought into our audience or the appropriateness of the format; our information architecture requires optimisation; key user journeys have yet to be implemented. We are working with users and other sources of customer information already to identify how we can improve the website experience.
We want to start making better use of Google Analytics and require support creating dashboards and ideally goals and events. We also require support analysing some of the existing data to answer questions we have around search.
These are some of the key pieces of information we are interested in- but we very much welcome suggestions
• Search destination page
• Search queries (search console)
• Multiple searches per user / sessions
• What pages do users call up a site search
• Time spent on search result
• Are users satisfied with their search (%search exits / Results Pageviews/Search)
• Visits (and where people go once they visit the site (user journeys)) / behaviour flows
• Popular content
• Audience (social media / referrals)
• Content types/formats- which work well and which do not
Finally, we would like to start using tag manager in order to track goals and events. If any advice can be offered to setting this up (we are using Sitecore), that would also be beneficial.
