Front End Development Support

We are looking for a freelancer to work with on an ongoing basis to build the FRONT END of our websites.

We provide designs in Figma and will give guidance as to what we are expecting in terms of animations/parallax etc on the page.

Each element will be built into its own pod, so we require each element to have its own scss

I have attached an example of our Homepage, this will have interactive elements which can be explained if required.

In order to be considered you MUST answer the following questions:

What tech stack/tool chain do you use for building the FE?

Do you use a task runner to compile FE assets, if so which?

Do you use css, less or scss to create styling and why?

How would you usually structure the FE source for a project?

Do you prefer to use a package manager such as NPM for Javascript packages or prefer to add links and references to packages in the head/body of a page – and why?

Do you use JQuery, if so how do you ensure multiple references don’t end up in the project when the client adds a snippet from a 3rd party?

What is the most technically difficult project you have worked on?

Why was it difficult?

How did you resolve these difficulties?

Do you currently have agency partnerships and if so, how long do these last in general?

Have you ever had a problem with understanding the brief for a project, if so how did you overcome this?

Have you ever taken on a project and found you were unable to achieve some of the requirements, if so how did you overcome this.
