Food microsite

General information for the website: A website introducing new foods from around the world to the user
Description of every page/module: Overview:

We would like designs produced for a very basic microsite. The concept behind the microsite is to introduce new foods from around the world to the user. The user flow will be as follows:

> Homepage (user then scrolls or clicks)
> User prompted to choose a traditional dish they like
> User is prompted to choose country of origin for a new dish
> User is shown the new dish with photo + other details about it

The site will work in a very similar manner to an app, since it is extremely focused and very simple.
Description of requirements/features: Design direction (please see examples attached):

I would like the design to be simple using a black top nav and block colour (though there will need to be various embellishments around this).

We need there to be a number of mouseover and transition effects. I don't have anything specific in mind other than perhaps having the background change upon mouseover of elements during some stage of the process.

Use of photography:

Unfortunately we are unable to source high quality photography. For the specific dishes we are only able to use creative commons allowable images, for example like those listed here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_African_dishes

However these may be filtered / tweaked to enhance or fit in with a defined aesthetic for the website as a whole. Please let me know if you need me to hire another freelancer to do this particular task and provide direction as to what aesthetic it needs to fit in with.


Other notes:

a) Site needs to be responsive
b) There will be approximately

6 traditional dishes to choose from
4 country alternatives per dish

However we would like the ability to add these, and possibly more, via a CMS. (if this is not feasible please advise)
