Description
The design, messaging, and copy will be received at the end of June from our marketing agency. We are now looking for a developer to build and implement a fast, static, and highly optimised website (no Framer or Webflow-style builders).
The ideal candidate will have experience building modern, performance-focused static websites for AI, SaaS, or technology companies, with a strong focus on clean implementation, responsiveness, SEO, and load speed.
Experience with static site frameworks (e.g. Astro, Hugo, or similar) is preferred, along with a strong understanding of production-ready front-end development and deployment workflows.

Hi Sarah, could you please let me know whether the deliverables from your marketing agency will include final designs (Figma/UI assets) alongside the copy, or are you expecting the developer to handle the front-end implementation and component design system based on branding and content guidelines? This will help clarify the build scope and timeline.
Thanks

- Besides the core marketing pages, are there any additional functional requirements such as contact forms, lead capture forms, newsletter subscriptions, analytics integrations, CRM integrations, booking functionality, or chatbot integrations that should be included in the build?
- Are there specific SEO and performance targets that are important for the project, such as Core Web Vitals scores, Lighthouse performance benchmarks, Google indexing requirements, structured data implementation, multilingual support, or international SEO considerations? -

Will the website content and design be provided all at once, or will it be delivered in phases?
-

Before moving forward, I would love to understand a few things. Do you already have a preferred framework such as Astro, Hugo, or another static site solution? Will the website require any dynamic functionality such as forms, CRM integrations, analytics, or blog management? What are the primary conversion goals—demo bookings, lead generation, consultations, or product sign-ups? And do you already have a hosting and deployment environment selected, or would you like recommendations based on performance and scalability requirements?
-

When the marketing agency delivers the designs, what outcome matters most to you: maximizing conversion rates from visitors, maximizing organic search visibility, creating technical credibility with enterprise buyers, or achieving the highest possible performance scores? The answer would influence several implementation decisions from the beginning.
