I have a problem with existing WP site.

Our web developer was hosting on his own host package with Cloudflare in between to provide some additional protection. He stopped supporting the site and suggested I move it to my own host.

I secured the Domain which was held by Namecheap. Decided hosting with Namecheap would be easiest as they would handle migration.

They have now created a clone of the site on a spare domain that I own.

I can give you logins and passwords to get into admin on both sites

Some of the formatting was lost and a bespoke theme (Droplet theme) created by our web designer which included a block editor have been lost. You'll see what the site looks like now.

I don't need the sites to look the same - in particular we can lose the banner picture on the front page, but would like it to be a workable site probably with a block editor and where we can add some corporate colours, updates, new pages etc.

The next phase would be to redesign the site into a more magazine style format (possibly using Divi for which I have a licence??) That will likely take place over coming weeks.

Do you think you would be able to get something that works and feels like the original reasonably quickly? Is it a questions of importing an editor or an appropriate theme, or something else?
