Description of requirements/features: Job: Develop Mobile App Coming Soon page
Description: Currently developing a social network mobile app which intends to help people meetup with interesting people around them based on their common interests.
Timeline: 1-2 weeks
Budget: <$150
Job Description:
We are currently developing our social meeting site app and very soon will be launching our BETA version. Whilst we test the app functionality we want to start driving traffic to info and registration page which will allow users to register their interest before the app launches.
For this I would like to have a "Coming soon" website linked to our domain which will contain the following:
- Responsive site compatible with all the screen resolution (desktop, tablets and smartphones) and with all major browsers (IE, Mozilla, Chrome, Safari)
- The user will be accessing the app through Facebook / Twitter / LinkedIn so would like to have the user register their interest by signing up to the Coming Soon site through these social accounts or email.
- To be able to modify content (pictures, text, videos) by ourselves.
- Whilst registering, the user will need to complete a registration form:
- Sections:
o Home page: Will be attractive and integrate video content
o About us: Info about the company
o Features: Describe main features of the app
o Blog: Standard blog features
o Social Networks
o Press & Media
I’ve seen a few sites I really like and would like to use as a reference:
- I really like the attached "Coming Soon" page from PandaDoc, as it's simple and has all necessary sections (ie Features, Blog, About us, sharing on social networks, it uses the "Get an early invitation" message, and has video). Maybe use this as a reference but with a London background
- Bonfire (attached). I like how the background picture makes site more stylish
- Yayplanner (attached)
- https://www.waze.com/ (I like how it integrates video in the home page)
As I understand getting all these features live on the site may take a couple of weeks, I would like the selected person to add a quick (1-2 days) and simple site which can be used as a placeholder until the full site is complete (something like wemeet, yayplanner or Bonfire mentioned above). This will still allow user to register interest through email.
About you:
- A creative and visually compelling portfolio that demonstrates beautiful interactive experiences and innovative design
- A work style that is extremely detail oriented
- A complete PPH profile
- References or an established reputation on PPH preferred
- Excellent English Skills
- Produce a solid, detailed technical design
- Write clean, modular, robust code to implement the desired requirements
- Contribute ideas for making the site
- Able to have Skype calls if required after 8pm UK time.
- Excellent scoping and planning skills as I will not accept delays. I’ve hired projects before where they’ve said it would take a week, and it ends up taking 3 months. It may sound harsh but I will cancel project if that’s the case.
The decision
As we are just starting, our budget is very low. There is a chance of further development once the company builds a good customer base, so successful developers/designers will be considered for future work.
Could you please reply to this message with:
- Your best offer
- Examples of other similar sites you have built (ideally in the travel industry)
- Timing to build
- The following reference REF: MZP at the top of your proposal
I am aiming to make my decision by Sunday 2nd February, so would appreciate you sending your proposal by then. Any proposal which does not meet these 4 simple requirements will not be considered.
Thanks for your time.
