Description
I have had a website sitting for months (One of my own) that I need completed as I simply do not have the time to complete.
It's a multi-vender website & most of the work is done in that department. The majority of work I need done is in the design & layouts for the frontend. Obviously the finishing touches to the vendor side too.
Its built on Avada, so expert knowledge of the theme is a most have skill, if you say you are & are not I will soon tell you that & your job will be at an end quickly.
Full details & link will be provided to anyone I think can do the task.
Write "Got it" at the top of your proposals. NO cut and paste proposals.
Price is not fixed, give me your price.
BTW the work is to be done on the actual website, no access to the hosting side FTP etc will be given.
Kind regards
David (UK)

Got it
Hi David,
I'm interested in your project but I can't quote for you with no information about the work that needs to be done, and without seeing your existing site.
Are you able to provide full details and link before I submit a proposal?
I get the impression, from the tone of your job description, that you've been messed around/stung before on here or similar.
The simple solution to not getting stung again is to ensure that you provide a full, clear and detailed brief. Don't hire offshore developers to save costs... You'll spend more time trying to communicate with them and also have a high chance of getting scammed, which I get the feeling you already have been down this route...
In regard to carrying out the work without access to FTP. Is there a reason for this? Do you understand the risks of altering code via the websites back-end? This isn't how I work - it's inefficient and one tiny mistake editing code in the back-end and the website will go down. I would then be unable to access the site/continue working or fix the issue myself and would have to wait until you resolved the issue yourself before I could continue. Does this sound like a good way of working?
I am genuinely interested in this job, but there are many Red flags for me at the moment, both in terms of the unclear requirements and also your tone - which I completely understand your frustrations hiring on here! But we're not all the same...
I look forward to hearing back from you.
Kind regards,

(Nope, just fed up with getting sent proposals from people who do read the project & are not qualified to do it)

(read above)
In regard to carrying out the work without access to FTP. Is there a reason for this? .......
(Why do you need FTP access? Why would you be changing files for theme or plugins within the editor? This is a build front end using Avada that gives you everything you need, Any css can be added directly into the avada-options-css. No other code required. If not able to build from the website it would show lack of understanding in the capabilities of Avada.)
I am genuinely interested in this job....
(75% of proposals so far declined with false information, not reading the proposal, or have to much negative feedbacks.)Matthew B.27 Jun 2023Based on your reply, good luck with your project!

Hi David!!
1. As you mentioned the website is built on Avada, could you clarify if you are using the Avada theme in conjunction with any additional plugins or extensions?
2. Could you provide access to the existing website so that potential developers can evaluate the current state and estimate the scope of work accurately?
3. Could you please provide more information about the specific design and layout changes you require for the front end of the website?
4. Could you elaborate on the "finishing touches" needed on the vendor side?
Thanks -
Hello David, Got It
- Can you provide more details about the current status of the website and the specific tasks that need to be completed?
- Could you provide more information about the multi-vendor functionality and any specific requirements or features that need to be implemented?
- Can you please share the link to the website so that I can better understand the scope of the project?
Once I have these details, I will be able to provide you with a comprehensive proposal and pricing estimate for the project.
Thanks
