Bespoke Website Build

Updated 15/04/2017 - I am working my way through your proposals and portfolios. I have updated my offer below to reflect the feedback and conversations I have been having with several of you. With promising proposals I have opened dialogue and provided more information about the project to help refine the fixed prices which have been quoted - I want to ensure we are both on the same page before work commences.

Description of every page/module: Hello everyone,

I'm looking for someone to build a bespoke PHP website for us, commencing around the end of April. We are an eSports organisation who will be looking to use this website to host our own online tournaments and use as a home to advertise our members and sponsors.

I have made a series of detailed images showing every page of the website, illustrating how buttons link to each other etc. to aide you. The logo's and content have been/will be made by us, we require you to create the boxes the content will sit in and the drop down menu (the bare-bones of the website). We will provide you with the logo's and content we have already created for a consistent colour scheme.

Images of the 2 most complicated pages are attached. All of the other pages (7 total) are in the drop down menu provided and do not have complicated features not already present on the 2 pages provided.

I intend to only utilise guest checkout, I do not want to handle payment information or a database of user accounts. I only want to build up a mailing list.

The website has an e-commerce element with a validated form or existing user profile required to checkout. I do not want to store user payment details and instead have that processed externally (Paypal etc.). I have a concern that people will be able to overbook tournaments (go over possible stock limits) or get tickets without payment being received - (I think this may limit payment options). The idea is to reserve stock (like gig tickets) for a couple of minutes for payment to avoid overbooking.

Description of requirements/features: Website Building - I think a lot of elements of CSS, HTML, jquery, PHP coding will be required to create this website.

Good Communication skills as I'm sure there will be problems we will need to work through.

Graphic design - The website design is quite 'boxy' so will be key to the aesthetics, are you capable of animating a box expanding/contracting as a news item is opened for example. If you have additional graphic design experience we would be interested.

We have our own domain and can manage the website ourselves once created.

CMS and Admin requirements:
I am not too familiar with CMS so would appreciate your advice regarding this. We would like to be able to just populate the website with content we create. New News article = new box on the front page for example.

There will be one application (api?) to an external website for tournament governance. This website "www.challonge.com" generates a tournament bracket we can update on their website and should automatically update on ours. I think should be easy enough to embed.

Extra notes: We understand the cost of this website to be in the hundreds and are serious about taking this project forward. I have designed the website to be as simple as possible so do not think it will be too large a project. The tournament page is by far the most complicated, the rest are very similar to the homepage.

If things go well, there are further opportunities related to this project and are open to suggestions for additional services from yourself. I think this is a unusual project many of you will not have been involved with before and would be a good asset for your portfolio.
