Ascenda Investment platform development

We're seeking an experienced full-stack developer to enhance our existing Ascenda Platform - a closed investment management system built with React/TypeScript and Node.js. The platform currently handles user accounts, investment tracking, and payment processing with mock authentication.

Frontend: React 18, TypeScript, Vite, React Router, Axios
Backend: Node.js, Express, TypeScript, PostgreSQL
Authentication: Currently mock implementation (needs replacement)
Step 2 Requirements
1. Authentication & Security Implementation
Replace mock authentication with secure JWT-based system
Implement bcrypt password hashing (already in dependencies)
Add proper login/logout functionality with session management
Create secure middleware for route protection
Implement role-based access control (admin/user profiles)

2. Enhanced User Management System
Build comprehensive user registration flow
