Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the business: An online publication dedicated to think tank content
Description of requirements/functionality: Here is the webpage that I am seeking help with:
http://thinktankreview.co.uk/all-reports/
This page displays a searchable table.
The root data is stored in a Google spreadsheet, which is connected to my WordPress website using the WordPress Inline Google Spreadsheet Viewer plug-in. The Inline Google Spreadsheet Viewer plug-in works by inserting a piece of shortcode into the relevant website page.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/inline-google-spreadsheet-viewer/
I want my ‘all reports’ webpage to load in such a way that the data in the table is displayed in reverse chronological order (beginning with July 2015, and working backwards to January 2014).
At present, the page loads with some data from May 2014 displayed at the top of the page.
The Inline Google Spreadsheet Viewer plug-in uses the DataTables tables plug-in for JQuery. I have been told by the Inline developer that the solution – i.e. getting the table data to display in reverse chronological order – will require use of the Ultimate Date/Time sorting plug-in.

I don’t have the coding knowledge needed to use the Ultimate Date/Time sorting plug-in effectively. I want to know whether anyone can follow the instructions in the above links to write the code in such a way that all the reports in my table are displayed in reverse chronological order (moving backwards from most recent year, most recent month all the way to oldest year, oldest month). I am assuming that the code, once written, can simply be inserted into my website.
If all of this is indeed possible – and I am not 100% certain that this is the correct approach for solving my problem – I would welcome bids to write the code (which should, in theory, be relatively straightforward to do).
Many thanks,
Harry
