Web based sports league results and tables project

I have an existing web based solution (classic asp) for a tennis results and league table system.

I can allocate players to a group, and those players can submit their match results, from which it awards points and updates a league table

I need to enhance it to include multiple sites and multiple sports

Not sure if there is a more suitable platform than classic asp at this stage but let me know if this project is of interest and we can discuss requirement in more detail
