Trading Software

I seek an experienced software developer well-versed in financial applications to design an algorithmic trading platform. The custom application should integrate robust APIs to pull live market data and place orders accordingly based on predefined strategies and indicators.

Experience with building low-latency trading systems directly interfacing with stock exchanges via proprietary FIX engines is essential. Proficiency in multiple programming languages including C++ for performance critical modules and Python for strategy development/backtesting is required. Knowledge of financial concepts like order types, trade lifecycles and market microstructure is a plus.

The front-end should support customizable screens for monitoring positions as well as strategy building/testing in a visual workflow environment. Security and fault tolerance are paramount as the software will run unattended to automatically enact trades. Strong documentation skills for onboarding strategies created by quants is important.
