Hi. I signed up with FirstPromotor. They require a java script to be written to integrate our Checkout Cart and call a function in FirstPromoter. Here are their instructions
The Javascript (JS) option is the default in most cases.
If you use a Javascript framework like React, Vue, etc, select the JS option even if you're running Rails, Laravel or any other server side framework.
If your framework or platform is not on the list you can use the JS option or the API (if you have access to server side code to make API calls). Tracking referrals through the API gives the same result, just that it tracks via an API call instead of a client browser request.
DO NOT select Stripe Checkout option if your're using Wordpress plugins or other pre-made integrations, they don't let you modify the source. Use the JS option instead on the thank you / success page or before user reaches the checkout.
