Senior Cisco Network & Security Consultant Required

We are seeking a highly experienced Cisco-certified Network and Security Consultant to assist with a Cisco Firepower deployment and wider network troubleshooting within our production environment.

This is not simply a firewall migration project. We require a consultant who can take a holistic view of the network and troubleshoot issues across switching, routing, VLANs, DHCP, VoIP/PBX connectivity, and security infrastructure.

Current Environment
Fortinet FortiGate 70F (existing firewall)
Cisco Firepower 1010
Cisco Firepower Management Center (FMC)
HP switching infrastructure
TP-Link switching infrastructure
VLAN-segmented network
VoIP/PBX services
Key Requirements

The successful consultant must have:

Strong hands-on Cisco Firepower (FTD) experience
Strong Cisco Firepower Management Center (FMC) experience
Advanced networking and troubleshooting skills
Experience with routing, switching, VLANs, DHCP, NAT, QoS, and network services
Experience troubleshooting VoIP/PBX-related networking issues
Experience working within mixed-vendor environments
Ability to perform root-cause analysis and provide practical remediation recommendations
Current Issues Requiring Investigation

Examples include:

PBX system not obtaining an IP address on its assigned VLAN
VLAN communication and segmentation issues
DHCP-related issues
Network traffic flow analysis and validation
General network performance and connectivity troubleshooting
Firewall Project Scope
Review existing Fortinet configuration
Assist with Fortinet to Cisco Firepower migration
Review and validate firewall policies and NAT rules
Support testing and cutover activities
Provide best-practice recommendations for Cisco Firepower and FMC
Mandatory Certifications

Applicants must hold one or more of the following:

CCNP Enterprise
CCNP Security
CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure
CCIE Security
Equivalent advanced Cisco certifications
