Before adding new functionality, are you expecting the selected developer to perform a full security and architectural review of the existing smart contracts, or has the current codebase already been audited and the work is primarily feature development and optimisation?

Hello. One thing I'd want to define early is the smart contract architecture and security requirements, since blockchain issues usually come from edge cases around account validation, state transitions, and authorization rather than the core functionality itself. I'd recommend reviewing the existing program structure and test coverage first to identify security gaps before adding new features. Is the project already built on Solana/Anchor, or is the blockchain environment still being decided?
I'd approach this by writing clean Rust-based smart contract logic, improving existing implementations where needed, adding comprehensive tests, and optimizing performance while maintaining security best practices.
I've worked on blockchain applications involving Rust, Solidity, smart contracts, backend integrations, and decentralized systems, with experience designing secure transaction flows, reviewing contract logic, and building maintainable code for production environments.
I'd be glad to help strengthen your smart contract codebase and deliver secure, well-tested blockchain functionality. -

Hi Jake,
Are you mainly extending an existing Anchor/Solana codebase, or will the developer also be expected to review the current account model and program architecture before adding new functionality, especially where security and compute efficiency could be affected?
Thanks,
Naresh
