Rocket.Chat Deployment & Full Rebranding

We are seeking a skilled and experienced freelancer to help us deploy, rebrand, and customize Rocket.Chat for internal communication within our organization.

This project includes full end-to-end setup, UI/branding changes, and basic functional customization. Only candidates with previous experience deploying and modifying Rocket.Chat will be considered.

Project Objectives:

Install Rocket.Chat on our server or cloud environment (Ubuntu)

Configure MongoDB, SSL (HTTPS), and domain access

Apply full rebranding (name change, logo, colors, favicon)

Customize basic UI elements (login page, titles, footer)

Setup admin roles and permissions

Enable video calls via Jitsi or BigBlueButton

Optional: Integrate email notifications and basic LDAP (if experienced)

Required Skills:

Strong experience with Rocket.Chat deployment (Docker or native)

Proficiency in Linux server administration (Ubuntu preferred)

Experience with MongoDB, Node.js, and Meteor

Familiar with rebranding open-source apps (React, Blaze, HTML/CSS)

Ability to configure SSL certificates and domain routing (Nginx)

Experience with Rocket.Chat customization (roles, settings, UI)

Bonus: Jitsi integration, SMTP/email setup, LDAP authentication

Deliverables:

Fully working Rocket.Chat instance accessible over HTTPS

Rebranded UI (logo, app name, theme colors)

Admin panel access with initial users created

Basic documentation on:

How to manage the system

How to back it up and restore

How to update the installation
