Description
Experience Level: Expert
I have a CSV feed that i need pulling from an FTP server (i have credentials) and saved onto my server, this will need to happen twice a day. Then have the python script remove specific categories from a column and the relevant data so that i am only left with the categories that i have chosen, resulting in an output of a new final CSV.
Once that is done, the 2nd phase is to calculate a percentage increase on the "price" column so that a new column is created with a final price which will be used to display the prices to the customers on the website.
Something like this:
def price(price):
if price >= 1.00 and price 11.99 and price <= 13.99:
return price 1.30
else:
return price 1.20 # For all prices that are not covered in above if and elif. that is prices greater than 13.99
I would want different pricing margins per category.
For example:
CPUs:
If the price is between £0 and £20 return price of 1.40 (40%)
If the price is between £20.01 and £50 return price of 1.30 (30%)
I can fill in all the information into the script once you make it for me.
I would like to get this completed as soon as possible. Please contact me for more information and questions.
