Are you a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team player? We're looking for a skilled Dev Ops Engineer to join our dynamic team as a part time role. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining our Cloud infrastructure. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.
For this role, your focus will be on both frontend and backend functionalities using principally VueJS in the frontend and NodeJS for the backend. Most of our projects use Firebase cloud functions or frameworks based on ExpressJS for the backend, and NuxtJS for the frontend.

At nuom, product development is an extremely collaborative effort. Each project is given a small cross-functional team to collaborate closely with our clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital products.
As part of the Engineering team, you will help develop innovative products for our customers using the latest web technologies. As a Dev Ops engineer you will be tasked with maintaining the infrastructure for our existing projects as well as setting up the infrastructure for the new ones. All our infrastructure is hosted on Google Cloud Platform
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Ensure the Nuom infrastructure is efficient and secure.
- Review and update infrastructure when needed.
- Monitor for security breaches
- Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure the project meets business objectives and compliance standards.
- Support the deployment of new products and features.
- Make architecture decisions for scalability and maintainability of the delivered software
- Participate of the maintenance and upgrade of the cloud architecture.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
- Experience in cloud infrastructure management such as GCP, Azure or AWS.
- Experience in Linux server management
- Experience in serverless services (Firebase, AWS Lambda, etc…).
- Experience in deploying containerised applications.
- Experience in Database management, SQL and NoSQL.
**Preferred Skills:**
- Broad and extensive knowledge of the software development process and its technologies.
- Knowledge of state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proactive and positive mindset.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Experience in Kubernetes cluster managerment.
