I run quite a heavily modified old version of OSCommerce, this worked reasonably well on PHP 5.4.4, however the shared server was up-dated with a newer version of PHP a while back. My host made good the front end of the site to get it running again, however they've broken their promise to make good the back end as there's many pages in admin that still do not work.
Don't ask what version my site is, as its been running for over ten years and had various add-ons done over the years to give various features, such as multiple suppliers, different customer groups for different prices (trade and retail customers), instant shipping costs when adding to cart, easy populate, Testimonials Manager, Search Cust-Products, Vouchers/Coupons, various reports, plus many more.
The sort of issues I'm getting is error messages, such as...
=====================================================================================
Deprecated: mysql_query(): The mysql extension is deprecated and will be removed in the future: use mysqli or PDO instead in /home/domain/public_html/store/admin/includes/reset_meta_cache.php on line 51
Warning: mysql_query(): Access denied for user 'domain'@'localhost' (using password: NO) in /home/domain/public_html/store/admin/includes/reset_meta_cache.php on line 51
Warning: mysql_query(): A link to the server could not be established in /home/domain/public_html/store/admin/includes/reset_meta_cache.php on line 51
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/domain/public_html/store/admin/includes/reset_meta_cache.php:51) in /home/domain/public_html/store/admin/includes/functions/general.php on line 248
=====================================================================================
I get the above after changing a product description and saving, then I have to reopen admin.
When trying to use the Easypopulate feature, that just times out.
What I'd like is for the error messages to stop and to be able to use Easypopulate again.
