Approximately 8 PHP files, created by an amateur originally about twelve or 15 years ago and which have evolved over the years, now need to be updated to run in PHP7.3. Before changing to PHP7.3 they were running error free in PHP5.6 but are now in need of fixing.
Also two associated databases (sql) to be transferred to the new cpanel hosting plan
The purpose of the PHP files and databases is to record and provide data to a distributed stand alone desktop application.

Could it be the php syntax used need to be updated to current php version to work?
