Laravel file validation & antivirus on a Linux server

We have a large SaaS that's nearing launch, we're looking to resolve our file uploading security.

Currently we allow users to upload via uppy directly to an AWS S3 bucket, our Laravel backend processes the presigned URL and then once the upload is complete our Laravel backend processes a job which moves the file to the relevant location and associates it in the DB.

We have ignored security for this proof of concept, but we need to address this before launch.

We've had a look at clamav anti virus, using this as a validator running on a linux server.

We're open to other options, but the above seems like a good starting point.

We would like someone to come and provide a system for handling file uploads - the uploads we accept are very broad, from images, videos and documents to text files, php files and css files. So we felt like a broad anti-virus focused solution would be best.
