Description
Experience Level: Expert
I have an excel spreasheet, for which I store information about my clients on. There are multiple worksheets in this spreadsheet - all holding different, but relevant data. For example, the first worksheet holds client contact info, the second worksheet holds general info about their IT network, third holds key passwords etc etc.
The spreadsheet is fine for me to use to find information when I need it, but when my clients request this information I prefer to give them it in a "report style".
Perviously I have had to copy and paste this info into a Word document, with info on each worksheet being on new pages. Once this word document is created (with table of contents, page numbers, formatted colour text etc) I then convert this to a PDF and send off to my client.
I would like something created (Macro perhaps?) which would take this info in my excel sheet and export it into either a template word document or into a html page. If html page then it should not only add the excel data to the html, but also include the styled formatting (such as section headers, borders etc) - once it does either of these then I can simply convert to PDF.
UPDATE: I have attached two documents. The first in the excel sheet I use to fill out info on client IT systems. The fields in the document sometimes change, depending on the setup of the network.
The 2nd doc is the Word template I sometimes use. You will notice that the fields/section in this document do not 100% match the excel sheet. This is mainly because they were created seperately - hence why I want this work done, as I want the Word doc fields to match the excel fields. This word doc also gives you an indication of the type of formatting I am looking for.
