(Easy) Python: Request a website where headers (cookies?) needed

Hello,
In python 3.9, I need to open a webpage. In my browser (Chrome), it opens fine. When I use my python script however, if does not. Rather than the intended page, I get a different response because the page is requested by a script rather than a browser.
Initial research suggests that the script needs to include headers (cookies?) in the HTTP request.

I need the correct request to send, such that the script will return the same contents (html) back as when the website is opened using a regular browser. See the attached sample script for my relevant code.
Also, I need a brief explanation of what exactly the additional data means, which we need to send. So that I understand what is going on.
