Experience Level: Intermediate
Developer finished job then disappeared. I had completed version of website, then lost it...now using older version that has a couple problems that need fixing.
Specifically - server is timing out with only 1 person on the site and it seems to be when you click on a specific page. It would also crash the sql server after 5 minutes of browsing the site. To even work on it I had to ban all ips except for mine so that the spiders wouldn't crash the server while I was working.
Website is theshowdepot.com. It has 1000's of TV Shows and Movies. The problem seems to be is the TV Show database. I noticed it is pulling around 1000 episodes for every season of every show.
