Description
Experience Level: Expert
This innovative technology company is seeking a seasoned backend developer to help develop the backbone for modern decentralized transaction networks. Their cutting-edge platform enables secure, high-speed data transfer across global peer-to-peer systems. You will have the opportunity to work on challenges at the forefront of distributed systems such as scalability, privacy, and synchronization.
Core responsibilities include designing and optimizing APIs for low-latency operations in distributed environments. You will implement and audit cryptographic protocols to ensure data integrity and security across the network. As a key member of the infrastructure team, your work developing and maintaining fault-tolerant systems using sharded databases and consensus architectures will be integral to the platform's functionality. Collaboration is also key, as you will liaise with peer teams on deploying and monitoring node-based networks. Staying on top of emerging technologies, you will research and integrate innovative protocols for efficient peer discovery and data propagation.
The ideal candidate possesses over three years of backend development experience, preferably with distributed or fintech systems. Expertise in Go, Rust, or Node.js is expected, with proven production experience in one of these languages. Hands-on experience with peer-to-peer networking stacks like libp2p or WebSockets/WebRTC, decentralized data sync methods like CRDTs or gossip protocols, and database scaling using Cassandra or CockroachDB is require

http is also stateless, off course stateless is better choice, microservices further help in managing smaller units which leads toward loose coupling
-
Would you prefer a stateless microservice architecture for your low-latency APIs, or are you leaning toward a stateful model for tighter control over data sync and peer coordination?
