Description

Experience Level: Entry
Here is the problem.

We use a system called Vmix for Live Video production. Vmix only reads open API Json files. I need Vmix to connect to an API source that requires an X-Auth-Token.

My thinking was I need a some code that can read the API and write the data I want to a file which Vmix can then read.

I'm not a coder, so just need a solution to the problem if you think you can help. Then let me know.

    Hi Mark, this is definitely something I can do.
    Does the API that your connecting to have a spec at the moment?

    Could do with an idea of how many endpoints you'd need to access data from before I can give you an idea on how much work would be involved.

    Don't want to give away to much of how I'd implement this publicly, but it's fairly straightforward and something I've done many times before for other systems.

    If you can answer the question about the API I'll send you a proposal.

    So you're not just querying them on demand?

    I got the impression vmix was sending the request?

    How often do you need Vmix to update the data from the API (e.g., every few seconds, minutes, or only when manually refreshed)?

    I need it to automatically update every 10-20 seconds, during the predefined windows of when football games are live.
