Description
Description of requirements/features: We have an API built in Codeigniter using https://github.com/chriskacerguis/codeigniter-restserver which currently only allows for reading of data - we need to extend this to also allow inserting of data into MySQL database.
The API etc is all installed and configured so this is an extension only
All we need you to do is to build this for one data source and then we will extend it for the other data sources - the API needs to have validation and logical error messages built in so we can specify that a specific field can only have 1 or 0 for example and then anything else which gets inserted gives an error message telling the user what they are doing wrong.
Any questions please ask but please note we will not be giving code access until we short list.

Are you in a rush or flexible on deadline?

I checked the file, https://github.com/chriskacerguis/codeigniter-restserver/blob/master/application/controllers/api/Example.php, but could not able to recall read data api code? I see you are using some static array. What will be information field for saving data? What kind of validation you want to use? I think we need to save in mysql table ?

I checked this file, https://github.com/chriskacerguis/codeigniter-restserver/blob/master/application/controllers/api/Example.php, where we can see some code for read data. But I can see you have taken static array there in get data function. Where exactly I can check for read API ? What will be information field for save data? What kind of validation you want there? I think we need to write code for saving data to mysql table, right?
