Web application developer: Java, MySQL

We are looking for a java web application developer with experience in developing websites for written in Java. We are looking for a specialist developer not a generic web page designer/developer.

We are looking for an individual developer or development team who willing to build a longer term relationship in developing the entire application. Experience in AJAX will be considered an advantage, though fundamentally we are looking for a back end developer with skills in database design. Front end design and functionality will be supplied by others.

This initial job is designed to get the project underway and to establish if a working relationship can be built to create further stages of the application. The full application will be a listings website with integration with facebook twitter and google maps.

In application please supply evidence of your skills, including definition of the structure of the application you would deliver and any frameworks/patterns which you have experience with/would use. Although this will be paid at an hourly rate please give an estimation of the time you expect to take to deliver this requirement (Elapsed and actual).
