Description

Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the app: The app needs to allow users to search for business phone numbers/addresses from the website's database of local business listings
Kind of development: New app from scratch
Description of requirements/features: A real rough, simple search app.
Timescale: 3 months

Needs the opening page to basically be a search box, the company logo and a couple of "featured adverts" (for businesses paying a subscription). Then this to take users to a results section that will have listings of their chosen search. with being able to click through on numbers, emails, their website etc to either call or go straight to their email client.
Similar urls: Yell iphone app. Except far simplified (no map or rating system)
Extra notes: For an idea of the information of each business, the directory is http://www.028ni.com/
: There is also no designs currently. If you look at the website, we want it as basic as that with matching colour scheme.
: I can provide you with any details you'll need to access the database and current back-end to hook up the app.



Edit - Currently the client has changed their mind and would like a map on each individual business page showing their location. Extended the post time to reflect this change. Will be reviewing Monday 7th November.

    From the requirement, it is pretty much clear to me what you exactly need... Just wanted to confirm you need Business Directory App for both iOS and Android? Right?

    I have some suggestions for Yelp App... Yelp is Best App for your requirement as a reference

    Yep, a simple business directory app. Currently just for iphone, although if you want to quote for both, or either, it will be taken into consideration.

    A very simplified version of Yelp. It's along the right lines, but there's far too much going on. There'd be no reviews or any of that. Just solid business information.
