I am interested in developing a recruitment application designed specifically for schools and teachers. Rather than teachers actively applying for jobs, the application will allow jobs to apply to teachers. Here is an overview of how the application will function:
For teachers:
• Teachers will register personal details.
• They will specify the subjects they teach.
• They will input their qualifications.
• A map feature will be available, allowing teachers to draw a circle around the areas where they are willing to work.
• Teachers will submit their CV, but it must be anonymized to conceal personal details. The app can automatically extract essential information such as location and name.
• They will have the option to hide their CV from specific individuals, ensuring it remains inaccessible to their current employers.
• Once all the details are entered, the CV will become live for a duration of two weeks. After this period, an automated text and email will be sent, inquiring if they are still seeking employment. They can respond with a yes or no, determining whether their CV remains active. This process will repeat every two weeks.
For schools:
• Schools will provide the necessary details.
• They will input relevant keywords, such as "English teacher." And necessary qualifications such as “QTS”
• The platform will display all applicants that have drawn a circled area which contains the school location
• Schools can then send connection requests to applicants, who have the option to accept or reject the offers.
• If an offer is accepted, an in-app chat feature will enable communication between the school and the teacher. All communication will be conducted through the chat interface, without sharing email addresses or phone numbers.
• Additionally, a job posting feature will allow clients to post jobs that applicants can view, similar to job boards as some jobs might be out of radius but still of interest to the applicant.
