Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Update: The App must be for both Android and ios.
Features:
1. The accomodation owner (accom owner) should be able to set up different types of pitch on the app. eg. basic pitch, electric pitch, pod, safari tent etc.
2. The accom owner should be able to update the prices of the pitches from the app. This must sync with our website to update the prices on the website too.
2. When a guest books a pitch on our website the accom owner must receive a notification to let them know they have a booking. The accom owner should then be able to check their calendar on the app and confirm or reject the booking immediately.
2. The calendar must sync with our website calendar so that the diary is always synced and up to date.
3. The accom owner must be able to update their availability at any time if they get a booking through our website or through any other booking agent.
4. The app should sync with our website to show the total cost of the booking and to show how much is paid and how much needs to be paid on the date of arrival.
5. On the date of arrival the accom owner should be able to mark the booking as fully paid and mark how it was paid (ie cash, debit card etc). Once they have marked it as paid it should notify our website so we can update this in our admin panel. On the site owners app this will then show that pitch as 'checked in' and the time the guest arrived.
6. The accom owner should be able to add things to the 'pitch' that the guest has ordered along with the price eg Breakfast, picnic, late checkout. If the guest orders any extras, the accom owner can add this to their pitch and a notification with the price and how it has been paid for should be sent to our website.
7. When the guest has 'checked out' the accom owner should be able to mark the pitch as 'checked out' and 'ready for cleaning'.
8. When the pitch has been cleaned. The accom owner should be able to mark the pitch as 'ready for check in' so they know that it is ready for the next guest.
Depending on price we would also like the following features to the app as optional add-ons
1. An accounts function. The accom owner can take photos of invoices and store them under various headings such as 'cleaning', 'maintenance', 'utilities', 'gardening', 'laundry', 'wages' etc they should be able to input the date received, the date paid. net amount, the vat and the gross amount. They should be able to add their own categories. They should be able to quickly and easily see how much they have spent on each category in total.
2. A staff rota function. The accom owner should be able to set up a staff rota so they can see who is working and when. They should be able to set up different roles and allocate start and finish times.
3. Maintenance 'to do list' function - they should be able to create a to do list of any maintenance jobs that need doing. They should be able to allocate an area or pitch number to the job. They should be able to input a 'do by' date and also a 'done date' so they can see what needs doing and whats been done. They should also be able to input the repair cost and the the name of the person who carried out the repair.
The website is not yet made but we have already got someone to do that. Please note that I am not available on Skype and any initial questions should be asked on here.
