Description
The app (for Apple and Android) will further enhance this roleplay, by mimicking the online seller experience WITHOUT any of it being real, or online. The app allows the child to take We will provide all visual assets, screen layouts, copy for all languages and sound effects. The app will have 8 languages. See the attached image for a flow diagram showing the layout and interaction for the app.
There are plans to create more sets, potentially in Spring 2026. At which point we will need to expand the features. This can be discussed as a separate job when the time arises.
Any questions, just ask.

Here are my few questions:
+ Will the app need offline data storage or local user profiles?
+ Are there any animations or transitions required between screens?
+ Which 8 languages will be included?
+ Do you require app store submission support?
+ Is there a preferred tech stack or framework for development?
Thank you. -

Hi Stewart,
sounds like a great project. I'd like to make sure that the proposal is relevant and valid rather than a copy/paste job so I have a few questions if I may?
Technical Requirements
1. Platforms: Do you need two separate native apps (iOS & Android), or are you open to cross-platform frameworks (e.g. Flutter, React Native, Unity)?
2. App Store Accounts: Will you provide the Apple Developer and Google Play accounts for publishing, or should I handle submission under my own and transfer later?
3. Devices Supported: Do you need support for tablets as well as phones? Any minimum OS versions in mind (iOS 15+, Android 10+, etc.)?
4. Offline Use: Since nothing is “real” or online, can the app be 100% offline, or should there be any online services (e.g. cloud saves, analytics, parental controls)?
5. Data Persistence: Should children’s “progress” (their pretend shop setup, sales, inventory, etc.) be saved locally between sessions?
Kind regards,
SteveStewart C.20 Aug 2025Hi Steve,
Thanks for the questions, I'll do my best to answer them...
1. Platforms. We need it to be on both Android and Apple, I presume it would be quicker and easier to do it on a cross-platform framework. That would be fine as long as it works on both platforms.
2. Accounts. We will provide the Apple Developer and Google Play accounts login for you to publish. We have existing accounts for both. If you could handle submission within these accounts that would be preferabble.
3. Devices. Ideally if it could work on tablets too that would be great. As for minimum iOS I wouldn't have a clue I'm afraid.
4. Offline Use. Correct, we would like it to be 100% offline with NO online services.
5. Data Persitence. Yes, their progress should remain stored between sessions ie. their created profile, selected language and completed orders.
Kind regards,
Stewart
