Experience Level: Expert
Unity Developer for Educational First Aid board Game (Profit Share & Milestone Pay)
Project Goal: We are developing an engaging, 2D digital adaptation of a physical board game designed to teach children vital first aid skills, aligned with school curricula (PSHE/Health Education). This is a mission-driven project with a clear path to generating revenue through school site licenses.
The Product: A simple, 2D web/mobile game using the Unity engine. Core mechanics involve card drafting, scenario response, and scoring based on correct first aid steps. Single-player MVP initially.
The Role: We are seeking a skilled Unity Developer (C#) to be the lead programmer on this project. You will be responsible for translating the existing physical game rules and UI into functional, clean code.
Required Experience:
3+ years of professional experience with the Unity game engine.
Proven portfolio featuring at least one card game, board game, or educational game project.
Strong understanding of game logic, state management, and asset integration.
Experience exporting projects to WebGL (Web) is a significant advantage.
Ability to work closely with our game artist and design team.
Compensation Structure (Hybrid Model): We are offering a secure foundation plus a long-term incentive:
Reduced Upfront Fee: A competitive, but reduced, fee paid upon the completion of key milestones (e.g., UI functional, Core Game Loop complete, Final Beta). This ensures you are paid for the work you deliver.
Profit Share: An agreed percentage ( 5% ) of all Net Profits generated from school site license sales for the first year of the game's life. This aligns our financial goals and rewards you for the game's success.
To Apply: Please submit your resume, portfolio, and briefly explain why you are passionate about applying game development to education and public health.

Hi Kingsley,
Do you want initially on a polished MVP for single-player, or include multi-user functionality from the start?
