Sales force set up

"We seek an experienced salesforce consultant to configure our Salesforce org to suit our business needs. As a growing food startup, we require a CRM that allows our small sales and marketing teams to effectively manage opportunities, track communications and activities.

The ideal consultant will have extensive knowledge of Salesforce platform and capabilities. This is a part-time, short term project to initially setup our core objects like Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, custom objects etc. and relate them via lookup fields for relationship tracking. We would also need configuration of record types, page layouts, shared fields and validation rules.

Workflow automation is important for our processes. The consultant should be able to build basic workflows or approval processes on objects using Workflow Rules and Approval Processes as required. Reporting and dashboards will help our management oversee key metrics. Standard and custom report types along with basic dashboards must be developed.

Security and sharing is another key area for configuration. The consultant must restrict access to data using permission sets, profiles and sharing rules. Integration with external apps may also be considered later. Documentation of setup, configurations and training for our teams on basic usage is expected.
