Build a Secure file (photo's & video) sharing platform

We run a business where we provide photo's and mini video's to our customers by giving them a USB with the images and mini clips on. Instead of doing this we want to build a secure platform to host the images/videos in the cloud and to be able to email or SMS our customers a link to be able to access and download those images/videos onto thier own device(s) using a password/PIN.

The front end needs to be really easy to use and user friendly (upload files fast, attach some basic information like customer name, email, mobile number, date etc... to each 'group' of photo's/mini clips). Then click a button to send SMS and/or email to customer who has to use a PIN/password to download them.

The database of photo's/mini clips needs to be searchable so we can resend emails/SMS's if customers loose their link and/or password. The email the customer recieves needs to be rich html and come from our own email address via SMTP.

The hosting we use needs to be able to scale so we only pay for extra space as we need it. But we could keep the files for only 3 months after which have the link 'expire' to keep costs down
