Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
UPDATE: Based on new advice, the preferred migrated platform will be WordPress, Joomla or Drupa
General information for the website: Electric Unicycles
Num. of web pages/modules: 10
Description of requirements/features: WheelGo.com is an emerging distributor of an exciting new form of transportation to the European market. At the moment our website is hosted on the Shopify e-commerce platform, which serves our requirements fairly well but is a rather too expensive & is not suited for the complexities of multi-currency & language. The project is being driven by the need to reduce ongoing costs, so it is expected that the migration can be performed cost-effectively.
The number of SKUs will be less than 10, with about 6-10 informational pages/sections related to the key product.
The requirements of the project are:
1) Come up with a more attractive/modern theme than is currently used & much more photo oriented
2) Migrated the existing WheelGo pages onto the site
3) Integrated Paypal
4) Incorporate regionalisation capability, that is, if someone from France goes to the website, a French version of the site will be displayed to the user & the currency based in Euros
5) Inventory & fulfillment module recording stock levels, shipping status, etc
6) Reporting: hits on page over time, locations, repeat hits, referrals, IP address data
7) A maximum of 3hrs post-build support within the first month
Our deliverables to the project:
1) Availability to answer any questions & guidance
2) Provide the content
3) Support the site on an ongoing basis
Payment methods: Paypal
