Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
General information for the website: Magento Ecommerce store, using aheadWorks extensions.
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Num. of web pages/modules: 1
Description of requirements/features: Starting point is a Magento Store running the 'Better Thank You Page' from aheadWorks.
This job is to customize the 'Order Success page including adding content, styling changes and the addition of drop down form for collecting 'How did you hear about us?' info.
The site uses 'Order Attributes Pro' to collect extra info during the checkout process. The solution for collecting the 'How did you hear about us?' info would ideally be incorporated with this, so the data is stored against the order. The submission of the “form” should happen via Ajax, so avoid a page reload.
The new 'Order Success' page should include the following, styled to match the brief / mockup provided.
- Thank You for our order
- Link to Order details // click here to print (same as default)
- Drop Down box with list item options for 'How did you hear about us?'
- Social Media icons (via CMS Static Block)
- Empty CMS static block (for later reviews addition)
• Instructions should be provided on how to add / remove items within the ‘How did you hear about us?’ drop down menu.
• CSS styles for the page, should be included within the extension style sheet.
• The social icons within the “Follow us” static block section, should use the same ‘addthis’ code used in the header of the site.
• Its important the new content additions are inside CMS static blocks as described, to allow different content, per Magento website ‘store view’ and easy editing via the Magento backend.
• The website in question is based on a responsive design, and any additions should degrade gracefully from desktop version, to the mobile version of the website.
Extra notes: Layout / Mock up attached
